Rye Patch has the following positions open at the Florida Canyon mine in Nevada.
The successful candidate will maintain and repair a fleet of Cat 777 and 785, perform maintenance of support equipment including grader, dozer and rubber tire dozer, oil and filter replacement on all maintenance and operation equipment; perform other duties as assigned. Experience in mechanical maintenance of heavy equipment preferred. Working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic schematics required. Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions required. Ability to provide own tools required. Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, team-oriented and work with minimum supervision required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with our without reasonable accommodations required. Proven safety record required. Excellent attendance record required.
Responsible for designing, organizing, modifying and supporting the organizations computer systems. Support LANs, WANs, network segments, internet and intranet systems. Maintain system efficiency by making recommendation for future upgrades. Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration. Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and setting of personal computers as well as printers. Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, software, security updates and patches. Knowledge of programming languages and operating systems. Ability to plan, organize and document complex system design activities and to configure systems to be consistent. Three (3) – Five (5) years of experience in complex system design, programming systems software and support. Manage the operation and delivery of IT services to the site. Must be able to be self-directed with no supervision and ability to make decisions and exhibit collaborative skills. Provide customer interface with external and internal vendors, suppliers and mine site personnel.
Responsible for daily field level assessment of equipment and crusher site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions. Perform maintenance (lubricating, fueling and cleaning) on loader, crusher, screens and conveyors. Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
Responsible for ore control, pit mapping, sampling, survey, Chip/core logging to include interpreting the geology. Coordinate and implement work to extend the geologic knowledge of the ore deposit including but not restricted to geologic mapping, sampling, and geophysical work. Construct models based upon using Vulcan, AutoCAD, manage and maintain blast hole database and other associated geological methods. Map high walls for faults, structures, validate geological model, and assist with blast hole and ore block design for staking in the field. This position will provide support to Corporate Exploration by identifying planes or fractures that pose a geotechnical problem, provide technical reports outlining the correlation between mineralization and lithology. Five (5) or more years of experience in a mining/mineral environment required. Ability to work within a team environment and possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with ability to work closely with different levels within the organization including any outside services. Bachelor’s degree in Geology or other related field required. Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of the position required. This position will be based at the Florida Canyon mine site near Winnemucca, Nevada.
Responsible for preparation of general journal entries, review costs for completeness and accuracy; facilitate budgeting and forecasts, support departments as requested within the scope of accounting discipline. Review costs for accuracy and completeness; reconcile vendor balances/sub-ledgers to the general ledger; prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis; ensure checks issued have cleared. Compile data and prepare a variety of reports, resolve discrepancies; facilitate audits and maintain or examine associated record of government agencies, prepare and file all state and local production, property, sales/use taxes. Two (2) – Four (4) years of experience in accounting and/or accounts payable required. Must possess analytical and critical thinking ability. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or other related field required. Competency in Microsoft applications including Excel and Word. Ability to be organized, efficient, analytical and attention to detail. Demonstrate ability to perform essential functions of the position required.
